  1. Wow, this was a wonderful podcast you guys. This album is so deeply embedded in me I sing parts of it all the time, lately it’s been One Hippopotami” because our new dog looks like a hippopotamus.

    One thing that I notice on this album is that the laughter seems bolder than it does on other albums. Almost more authentic. It’s been a while since I closely listened to the other albums but on …The Nut he seems to have the audience in his palm whereas on other albums, but that could just be tainted memory.

    One thing that happened while listening to this show is that I finally related Follies Bergere with what he said in the song. Like I’ve listened to that song since a kid and I just didn’t know what he was saying or it’s reference until yesterday. Culture is funny.
