Actually, this was created in 2002 for a science class at Columbia College Chicago, but when I put it on an early video-sharing site, it got enough views to get our video played on Frontier Airlines, and even got me interviewed in The New York Times, Chicago Sun-Times and some […]
New Host
Hi all! We’ve switched hosts, which means ALL of the short urls, etc, in posts, except for Why Did I Buy This, Pratfalls of Parenting and Buddies in Space, are going to be a bit glitchy. However, you can still go to comedyonvinyl.com and danandjay.com to enjoy those podcasts. Stay tuned […]
The Cast Cast with Mike Worden Premieres this Thursday, May 21!
We’re proud to announce the newest podcast in our line-up! Every other Thursday, Comedy on Vinyl‘s producer, Mike Worden, hosts our first spin-off podcast, The Cast Cast. He’ll be talking with his guests about their favorite cast albums, pulling from his own obsession and his musical theater background (he also starred […]
Buddies in Space Is (Are?) Coming!
I want to officially welcome aboard the newest StolenDress podcast, Buddies in Space! It’s an hilarious show, hosted by the incomparable New York duo of Mike Curasi and the enigmatically-named S’mike, who discuss tech, games, comedy and more. They’re also our other drinking podcast, and definitely a spiritual sister show to Dan and Jay’s Comedy Hour. Additionally, we need to knock the movie “Space Buddies” off the top of Google’s results. Just to… just to do it, you know?
October 21, 2015 – The Million McFly March
On Wednesday, October 21, 2015, StolenDress Entertainment is bringing the world the Million McFly March. Fans of the film will gather at the first real-world location used in Back to the Future (The Burbank Burger King at 545 N Victory Blvd, Burbank, California 91502), dressed as Marty McFly, to participate in the largest gathering of McFlys in history, and to help raise money for Parkinson’s research. Let’s gather on the day Marty travels to in Back to the Future II and, instead of mourning
ROAD SIGNS
Upcoming Projects
A quick thank you to everyone showing their support for my existing podcasts and new friends like Pratfalls of Parenting. Just a heads up that one of my old favorite StolenDress podcasts will be coming back soon, and we’ll be producing a Comedy on Vinyl spin-off podcast that I think existing listeners will like.
I’m also polishing my first novel, which has been too many years in the making, but that will be self-published this year if I don’t get the attention of a publisher or agent in time. I just really like it and it’s fun, and I want to move on to the next thing.
For supporters of Lords of Soaptown, we’re looking at other festivals, and waiting to hear back from those we’ve already submitted to. I also have some other people with a bit more documentary experience looking it over for me, but we’re moving forward, if much slower than we’d like.
New Podcast!
My company and I are proud to announce a new podcast joining the StolenDress Entertainment family. Levi Weinhagen‘s “Pratfalls of Parenting” is a great podcast about creativity and having kids while still managing to be funny. It’s great, and I suggest you go take a listen now. The first “official” StolenDress episode comes out next week, but all the episodes are worth a listen.
