Episode 299 – David Kirk Traylor on Firesign Theatre – I Think We’re All Bozos on This Bus

After I rediscovered David’s character Mr. Zed (aka David Zed) on YouTube and then found out we had a mutual friend in Firesign’s Phil Proctor, I had to find out the backstory behind a stand-up character with this kind of longevity.  He picked a Firesign album about AI, and here we are.

Episode 298 – Chris Korman on Harvey Korman

This week I talk with Chris Korman about his father and a hero of mine, Harvey Korman.  If you need a vinyl excuse, Harvey had one album I want to talk about separately on the show and then, of course, there’s the Blazing Saddles soundtrack that finally exists.

Episode 297 – Katie Mears on The Smothers Brothers – Think Ethnic

Katie’s comedy analysis on YouTube is brilliant, and I was excited that she agreed to come on the show and break down what we both think is funny about The Smothers Brothers.  We dig further into their vast catalog, and talk about Think Ethnic!
